In 2021 QUE COLOUR celebrates our 10th year in Darlinghurst! 

Que Colour, often referred to the best hairdresser Darlinghurst, was first opened as a colour only hair salon on Crown Street, with only 3 chairs and... when we say colour only.. yep we literally ONLY coloured hair. No blowdries or haircuts back then! Specialising in one field was particularly sought after amongst the industry and to this day Monique (founder of QUE COLOUR) only does hair colour!

Fast forward 10 years, a move up the road to a bigger salon space and now the lovely QUE team we specialise in absolutely everything from haircuts, foils, balayage, long hair cuts, layered haircuts and of course our famous blowdries. 

Darlinghurst has to be one of the coolest places in the CBD to discover amazing local cafe's with the best coffee, chic lunch spots for business meetings, the best shopping along crown street and boutique beauty salons for all of your skin needs. Being in such a great location provides a massive surge of creativity and inspiration making it a must-visit for all Sydney siders/ travellers!

The best shopping in Darlinghurst? 

The Standard Store on Crown Street is style heaven. Nicola and Orlando have curated a selection of only the coolest, most unique pieces from both overseas and local designers and always seem to be ahead of the trend. It's hard to walk out of here without at least one new purchase and a dozen compliments on the way out ! Not to mention their store is just 

so cool to be in and nestled in the heart of crown street which oozes style 

Our Favourite Lunch Spot:

If you know you know, it's hard to go past Darlo Sandwiches  like seriously I can't quite explain what it is (the perfectly fresh bread.. the dressings) but they have a seriously special place in our hearts and is a must-stop for maybe the best sandwich you've ever had! Be prepared for the queue outside, as there is always a wait.

The best pasta + aperitif near the cbd? 

Bar Vincent is just a few steps (literally.. maybe 12 steps) from our beloved Salon making it the perfect final visit after a famous Que Colour Blow dry!  Maybe Darlinghurst's worst kept dinner secret, as their impeccable wine list and delicious food have us dreaming of pasta at all times of the day.
